The Owl
In the Autumn half term, My sister and niece, came up to visit for a few days.
My niece was very keen to make a painting with her Arty Auntie. So we all camped to the cabin in the garden to work there.
The result was the very charming 'Owl' with which my 10 year old niece was very please and with which may sister and I were very impressed. It was brilliant to work with her one to one and support exploring composition, colour, brush marks and line/edge and textual quality to get the feeling of 'Owl' that she wanted.
I really enjoyed it - and would like to develop a workshop for others that would like some support and focus on painting a wee woodland creature.
If you would be interested - let me know!
