Mud and Blood: Re-creating the Somme

Niki Holmes has been invited by Head of Theatre Studies at the Shrewsbury School, Brain Parsons, to work as Scenic Artist on a production at the School.

The Junior School play this year is 'Journey's Head' as gripping portrayal of life and death in the 1st WW trenches. The Set will recreate a trench dugout and feature a lot of mud and pyrotechnics.

The play has a particularly poignancy in this centenary year since the beginning of the Great War.
